Abstract

With the rapid advancement of scientific research and the increasing complexity of global collaboration, research integrity has emerged as a pivotal concern among the global science and technology community. This article aims to delve into the nuanced construction of the research integrity system in China, examining its foundational principles, current frameworks, and the ethical guidelines that underpin scholarly activities. It highlights the multifaceted challenges faced, including issues of academic misconduct, data fabrication, and authorship disputes, as well as cultural factors that may influence perceptions of integrity in research practices. Through a comprehensive analysis, this study seeks to identify existing gaps within the current system and propose strategic recommendations for its improvement. Additionally, it explores future development trends that may shape the landscape of research integrity, such as the impact of emerging technologies, interdisciplinary collaborations, and global partnerships.
